February 21, 2008 Meeting Minutes


President Milton Lentz opened the meeting at 7:00 P. M.

Compatriot Don Sielert gave the invocation.

The pledges to the American, Texas and SAR flags were lead by compatriots Pete McLellan, Billy Thompson and Marshall Battle.

Reading of the minutes from the last meeting was waived by acclamation.

Secretary/Treasurer Billy Thompson gave the Treasurer's report, reporting that the bank balance was $1,896.22.

Compatriots and guests were introduced.

New member Sandy Joe McGee was inducted into the McKinney Chapter.

The group was given a very interesting program on the day to day activities of the Dallas Police Department during the November 1963 shooting of President Kennedy in Dallas. The program was presented by Jack Revill. At the time of the shooting of President Kennedy, Mr. Revill worked for the Dallas Police Department. Attending the program presented by Mr. Revill were sixteen members of his family.

Chaplain Don Sielert gave the benediction.

Willie Walker led the SAR Recessional.

The meeting was adjourned at 8:03 P. M.
